Luminocity 2025 - Every Donation Makes a Difference
Luminocity, a week-long outdoor video art exhibition, returns to the unceded and unsurrendered lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc within Secwepemcúl’ecw this fall!
Dynamic video projections and immersive light experiences will fill the grass field at Riverside Park and transform the exterior of the Kamloops Art Gallery and downtown storefronts. With projects that range from narrative storytelling to experimental film and animation, Luminocity shares the magic of the moving image and acts as a portal to urban transformation.
Viewed outdoors, at night, during the shortest days of the year, Luminocity lets in the light, offering insight into the world around us through artworks that open up networks of cultural exchange and transport us to other realms.
Accompanied by engaging Curator’s Tours and nightly interactive Educator’s Tours, Luminocity is an invitation to extraordinary encounters with art throughout downtown Kamloops for all ages.
Your donation supports artists and helps us keep this incredible experience completely free of charge for everyone in our community, ensuring these moments of enchantment and opportunities to bear witness to an artist’s view of the world are accessible to all.

NOTE: We are now using Zeffy to process all online donations and memberships. This Canadian-owned organization helps not-for-profits like us keep 100% of the funds donors like you contribute by covering all processing fees, and not charging us anything - which means when you donate $100, we get $100 instead of $95.
What this means for you: you will see an OPTIONAL “tip Zeffy” function when you donate online. If you select “other amount” and leave the field blank, you will not be charged.
